7 Ways to Treat Hyperpigmentation so It Never Comes Back

Hyperpigmentation is a common problem among women. These are dark patches of some areas in our skin. We try to hide it with color correctors, concealers. But never feel ashamed to get out being who you are. Mainly we get pigmentation in our mouth and chin area. It sometimes is a signal to ill health, so try visiting a doctor first. Taking very good care of skin is a must in this problem. So, here are some natural remedies for removing hyperpigmentation so it never comes back.

1.) Lemon and turmeric mask:

After cleansing your face make a fine paste of turmeric and lemon and apply this to the targeted area. If you feel any burning sensation then immediately wash it off with cold water as it did not suit your skin. Use this mask at night and do not forget sunscreen at daytime. Because lemon is acidic and it makes your skin photosensitive.

2.) Tomato, yogurt, and oatmeal mask:

Mix a tomato puree, two tablespoon oatmeal, and half a tablespoon of yogurt and apply to your face. Keep the mask on for at least twenty minutes to get the best result. Natural bleaching properties of tomato will remove pigmentation, and lactic acid from yogurt will help to tighten pores. Oatmeal scrubs away dead skin cells giving you better new skin.

3.) Apple cider vinegar:

Take one tablespoon apple cider vinegar and dilute with two tablespoon water. Keep it on for five minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. Use it once a day to notice a difference. Apple cider vinegar anti-oxidant and acidic properties for treating your pigmentation. Do not forget your best friend, sunscreen while using this.

4.) Cucumber:

Cucumber is known for rejuvenating skin and improving skin complexion. Mix 1 tablespoon of cucumber paste, honey, and lemon juice together. Apply this on your skin for 10 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. You can use this for removing blemishes and scars of acne.

5.) Orange peel:

Dry orange peels in the sun and then grind it in a powder form. It is a little acidic, so mix this with honey and milk for making a rich paste. Keep it on for twenty minutes. It will take a longer time to make it but trust me, it is going to be worth your time. Try to dry a lot of orange peel at a time so you do not have to repeat the procedure every time you make the mask.

6.) Almond:

Take 5-6 almonds and soak them all night. At morning grind the soaked almonds and mix them with milk and a little bit of lemon juice. Almond has a lot of vitamin e and anti-oxidant in it. Vitamin e helps to improve skin texture and anti-oxidant helps with hyperpigmentation.

7.) Sandalwood powder:

Sandalwood is known to be part of beauty ritual for years. Mix sandalwood powder and rose water and make a fine paste. Keep this on your face for twenty minutes and then rinse it. Sandalwood purifies blood cells and gives pigmentation free skin. It is commonly used in sunscreens for protection from UV rays.
